Ice, Ice Baby!

Ice, ice baby is a good line to sum up this weekend at the complex as two great events will be taking place on the ice. The Gamblers will be home at the Resch Center hosting Sioux Falls for games on Friday and Saturday night. But, at the Brown County Arena, you can see motorcycles racing on ice on Saturday night! It's a very unique event as motorcycles race on the hockey rink. This is the second year the World Championship Ice Racing Series has made a stop in Green Bay. This year, they're starting the series here! Some of the machines are able to reach 60 mph in under 3 seconds. Needless to say, you need to be brave (maybe a little crazy)to throw your leg over one of those motorcycles, on the ice and in the tight confines of a hockey rink.

If ice entertainment isn't your thing, perhaps a rare Christmas show by Herman's Hermits is! "A Peter Noone Christmas" will be at the Meyer Theatre on Friday night at 8 p.m. It's believed to be the first time in at least 20 years that the Hermits will do a Christmas show. Peter Noone is a heck of a showman and it promises to be an entertaining and unique show. Barb's Centre for Dance also hold its annual holiday dance show at the Meyer at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

We've got a lot of neat things coming up in the coming months, maybe even some that will have you feeling blue! See you in the seats.
