Resch hasn't seen the likes of this!

Every once in a while, we announce something that has never been to Green Bay. Such is the case now with the announcment that Cirque du Soleil's Delirium will be at the Resch Center on February 28. Tickets go on sale Monday, December 11 at 10 a.m. This is a Vegas style show, only much bigger! Only half of the Resch Center will be used for seating because they need to use the whole floor for a stage! It's that big. Nothing of this magnitude has ever been here - in an arena. In addition to the large stage, there will be more than 300 feet of projections, about the size of two IMAX screens. There will be a live band on stage as music will be the driving force of this event. You will see the Cirque-like events you see in Vegas, but it will be a much larger scale. Because of the huge production, the capacity will be around 4,200 people in the Resch Center. If you're interested in this, please try to get tickets on Saturday. You won't be disappointed. I've seen at least 4 Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas and I can't wait!

Not to be outdone, The Cheetah Girls were announced this week as well for the Resch Center. They are sure to be a huge hit with pre-teen and young teenage girls along with their mothers. Featuring Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan, the Cheetah Girls are a multi-platinum pop and R & B girl group inspired by the best selling Cheetah Girls book series and the Disney Channel orginal movie. Ticket go on sale Saturday, December 9 at 10 a.m.

Next week comes the All-American Rejects at the Brown County Arena on December 14. More on that next week. In the meantime, see you in the seats.
