Resch Center to be Blue!

If you've been to the Resch Center lately, you may have noticed the "Blue Rocks" banners hanging from the light poles out in front and along the walk way. They signal the coming of the Blue Man Group. One of the most popular show attractions in Las Vegas. However, the show at the Resch will be different than what you'd see in Vegas or other theatre. The Vegas Blue Man show is more a theatre show with a taste of concert. The Blue Man arena show coming to the Resch is more of a rock concert with a touch of theatre. It promises to be a great show and is one of the unique things we have lined up for you this year! The Blue Man Group will learn how to perform at a rock concert in a tongue-in-cheek manner. An 8-piece band will join them on stage for the high tech production. Go to blueman.com for more info, but make sure you click on "How to be a Megastar Tour 2.0" because that is the show coming here.

Meanwhile, the other unique show we're bringing this winter is Cirque du Soleil's Delirium on February 28. It is essentially sold out right now, but I'll tell you what I tell everyone else....if you're interested in going, call Oneida Casino Ticket Star at 800.895.0071 and check for ticket availability as the show date gets closer. Tickets are usually released for events. Sometimes it happens the week before, sometimes it's the day of the event.

I have to tell you, one of the neatest events we've had in a long time happened on January 20 - it was the Cheetah Girls concert. There were tons of moms and little girls (some dads too, but not many!)dressed up with cheetah spots. The girls were so excited they couldn't stand it. And during the concert with a show of hands, many said it was their first concert ever. How cool! Lots of stuff coming up in the next few weeks and months. Stay on top of this Web site for the latest and don't forget to get your Rod Steward tickets if you haven't already done so! See you in the seats.

What's up for 2007

As we file 2006 in our memory banks, it's time to start looking forward to our entertainment options in 2007. We have many things planned at the Brown County Veterans Memorial Complex (Brown County Arena, Resch Center, ShopKo Hall) and at the Meyer Theatre in downtown Green Bay. Some have already been announced, some are in the works and some we don't even know yet! What we do know is The Cheetah Girls, Cirque du Soleil's Delirium, Goo Goo Dolls and Chart Toppers 2006 (hip hop) are all already on the books. Disney On Ice and Doodlebops are also on the way in the next couple of months for family entertainment. At the Meyer Theatre, the second season series wraps up with Leo Kottke & Leon Redbone next week and David Sanborn in early February.

There are a number of other things in the hopper that are not finalized, but should happen. One of them is sure to make you feel "Blue." Rest assured, everyone here at PMI will do their best to bring you the best entertainment we can. In addition to the mix of Gamblers hockey and UWGB basketball this winter, there will be a host of what we call "flat shows" at ShopKo Hall like the Home & Garden Show, Wisconsin Deer Classic, World of Wheels and so on. We'll also have your usual favorites like Monster Trucks, the Rodeo, Arenacross and things like that. Your best bet is to always check out our Web site at ticketstaronline.com to find out what's happening.

2006 was a good year and we're looking forward to a great 2007! See you in the seats!
