It's all good

Well, Mickey Mouse left the Resch Center a happy camper. Disney On Ice had its best show in Green Bay in 9 years! And that's all thanks to you guys. At this writing, I'm visiting Mickey at his home....at Disney World in Orlando. In any case, we're getting wind of which Disney On Ice show is coming here next year and if it does, it will be awesome! Sorry I can't divulge those details because nothing is official yet....but you'll be among the first to know. Hopefully we'll be able to say something in the next few months.

Keith Urban is now on sale (Saturday morning) and there should be two great shows on July 31 and August 1. Cirque du Soleil is in on Wednesday as is Goo Goo Dolls. Cirque is pretty much sold out at the Resch, but the Dolls have plenty of room left at the Brown County Arena.

The Shrine Circus is coming in the next couple of weeks and that has always been a longtime favorite. Let Me Frank Productions is also set to open up at the Meyer Theatre in downtown Green Bay. Frank and his gang now call the Meyer home for all of their shows. The first one of the new season is Frank's Country Jamboree.

Is there something you'd like me to address in this blog? Please let me know and I'll do my best to address it or answer your question. Until next time, see you in the seats!

Keith's coming...so is Mickey

Well, there have been a lot of rumors and reports that Keith Urban is coming to the Resch Center. Let's put a stop to it. It's true! Keith Urban will play the Resch Center this summer. The date has not been confirmed yet, but he will be here. He already has a confirmed date in Milwaukee, so it's a safe bet the Resch Center date will be sometime around then. The last time Keith Urban was here his concert sold out in a heart beat. Guess that makes sense...a heart throb sells out in a heart beat! Stay tuned more info on that.

Other concert updates...Cirque du Soleil is essentially sold out right now, but check back when the show date gets closer. You never know if or when additional tickets might be released. Meanwhile, Rod Stewart and Blue Man Group are both selling very well, but there are tickets available yet for both. Both concerts should be awesome. As you know, Rod will be in the round and you never know what you're going to get with the Blue Man Group! There will be more exciting announcements in the coming months.

Finally, it's always a fun time around here as Mickey Mouse arrives. The annual stop of Disney On Ice will be at the Resch February 14-18. This year's show is called Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey and actually features four different Disney productions - Peter Pan, 101 Dalmatians, The Little Mermaid and Lilo and Stitch. One neat thing about this year's show is there is a skater from Green Bay in the show! Ashley Wong is one of the main skaters and skates in the principal role of Perdita, the mommy dog in 101 Dalmatians. The show is selling really well, so get your tickets for the family and see you in the seats!!
