The Wow Factor

Every once in awhile, an event comes through that makes you go "Wow"! Cirque du Soleil's Delirium was such an event. The sold out spectacle got the attention of everyone who was here. It was colorful and mysterious. A Press-Gazette online headline summed it up best.."Cirque to be enjoyed, not explained." It was by far the largest production ever set up in the Resch. The stage was huge and the projection screens were enormous. It created a setting never seen here before. The good news is it was so successful and worked so well here, there's a chance we could see a similar show in the future. Blue Man Group at the end of March has a chance to be a similar Wow event. We expect it to sell out. It hasn't yet - so you've been warned!

Boy, Frank Hermans and his crew have started off with a bang at their new home - the Meyer Theatre in downtown Green Bay. Let Me Be Frank Productions is playing "Frank's Country Jamboree" at the Meyer for most weekends through March. The singing and comedy are fantastic and there's one scene in particular involving Frank's cast member and CBS 5's Paul Evansen that is a gut-buster. Do yourself a favor and check out Frank's crew at the Meyer. Every seat is a good one and the sound is second to none. It has already received a great review from the Press-Gazette getting 4 out of 4 stars.

We announced Hinder and Papa Roach this week - coming to the Resch on May 8. Hinder is a really cool rock band that kind of reminds me of Creed. Tickets are only $26.50 and go on sale March 10.

Stuff coming up in the next few weeks that may peak your interest include Freestyle Motocross at the Resch Center, World of Wheels at ShopKo Hall and the Brown County Arena and then Bulls & Broncs at the Resch Center at the end of the month. See you in the seats!
