Wheels, reels and HSM

Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour had a fantastic four day run at the Resch Center. More than 27,000 people took in the show. Four of the six shows were a sell-out....a first for Disney ice shows.

Larry the Cable Guy continues to sell tickets at a pretty good pace...wouldn't be surprised to see him go over 7,000 tickets.

As I mentioned before, Carrie Underwood sold out in one day, the first time that's happened in a while. It's always possible more tickets will be released, so continue checking on the ticketstaronline.com web site.

World of Wheels coming March 7-9 to Shopko Hall and the Arena. The actor who portrayed Cooter on Dukes of Hazzard will be here. He's Ben Jones. He'll also bring his car - the General Lee. The actor who plays Hannah Montana's brother "Jackson" will also be here for part of the show. And as always, a bunch of great, custom cars and hot rods.

The NEW Fishing Show at Shopko Hall this weekend. Everything you want to know and see in the latest technology regarding fishing will be here.

Ice show is hot, so is Underwood

A couple of events coming up are red hot. Carrie Underwood went on sale Saturday, February 2 and sold out the same day. As is the case with concerts, there is always the chance that more tickets will be released. It's one of those cases where you need to check the Web site from time to time or give the box office a call. This will be the first trip to the Resch Center for Carrie and it promises to be a hot show....just like her ticket!

Meanwhile, speaking of hot, Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour is selling very quickly. The Saturday shows are already very tight. If this interests you, please get your tickets soon. This show annually sells a lot of tickets the week of the show and this year there are no Sunday shows. So, we have two less shows to sell. I saw the show in Florida when the tour started in September and it is very cool. It is a very large production and the only tour out there that boasts music and dancing from both High School Musical and High School Musical 2.
